包栈包点专卖店创始人陈峪利先生自1987年南下至新山,在机缘巧合下,与同乡兼现任合伙人叶福霖先生一同创立传统包点事业。

创业初期,面临了许多始料未及的挑战,从人事安排,行政规划,制度管理,食材管理到货物输送。尽管困难重重,但是两位创始人不曾有过放弃的念头,依然咬紧牙关,硬着头皮顶着,一次又一次渡过了每一关。

作为一个手工包点专卖店,两位创始人将传统的制包理念贯彻始终,除了将长年来累积的传统手艺保留并延续,凡蒸超过3小时的包点也都统统以流失计算,所有步骤都严格把控,一心一意捏好每一粒包,所有坚持都是为了让食客们品尝到品质最好的包点,进而打造世界级包点,将中华传统饮食文化的宗旨推向全世界。

成立至今,两位创始人也意识到市场动态的日新月异,逐渐将包栈转型成B.O.D包栈。

B.O.D包栈是以“现做,现蒸,现卖”的宗旨营业管理着,并打着“吃包子, 我要吃最新鲜的! ”这个口号推出每一份包点。这个口号意指为包栈只将最新鲜的包点带给我们的顾客,致力于还原包子最原汁原味的味道。新颖的思维搭配传统的手艺,也让B.O.D包栈在保留色相味俱全下,陆陆续续的推出了各种创新包点,如功夫肉包,御品叉烧包,咸蛋流沙包,金牌烧卖等等。

B.O.D Brand Story

In 1987, Mr. Ding Ee Lee, founder of Bao Zhan steamed bun specialty store, relocated to Southern Malaysia to pursue his dream. Coincidentally, he met his current business partner and clansman Mr. Yek Hock Ling in Johor Bahru. The wo young clansmen decided to venture into the traditional steamed bun business together.

Initially, they encountered many unforeseen challenges in human resources management, administrative management, systems and procedures, food ingredients management and logistics issues.

Despite the numerous hurdles, the two ‘never-say-die’ founders bit the bullet and managed to overcome the challenges one by one with their hard work, persistence and great determination. As a steamed bun specialty shop, the two founders never compromised with quality control. They insisted on handmade steamed bun with the traditional techniques that they have acquired over their years of experience.

All steamed buns are removed from the showcase and discarded after 3 hours to ensure the freshness quality. To preserve such traditional skills, every bun is handmade with strict control and served to customer straight from the heart.

Bao Zhan is dedicated to share the Chinese culinary arts with the world with its international- standard steamed buns.

In view of the fast-changing markets and consumer behavior, the two founders decided to revamp and transform Bao Zhan to a modernized fast-food and take away retail concept. This rebranding will give birth to B.O.D (Bao On Demand).

The concept of B.O.D emphasizes on live production.

“To make, steam & sell” fresh buns, and “Let's taste the freshly handmade bun!”. This tag line sums up the mission of B.O.D, to preserve and inherit the traditional steamed bun techniques for future generations.

By combining creativity with tried and tested traditional skills, B.O.D is confident enough to innovate new products like KungFu Meat Bun, Mini Cha Siu Bun, Salted Egg Lava Bun and Pork Dumpling without compromising taste, aroma and presentation.
